RESPONSIBLE FOR MAINTENANCEOF VERTICALGARDENS

Vibeiras has a maintenance contract for the vertical gardens, external and interior spaces of the Telheiras area in Lisbon.

The famous system designed by the French botanist Patrick Blanc consists of building a green wall with two layers of synthetic cloth with pouches in which the plants and soil are placed.

The cloth walls are stapled to a PVC plate and then connected to a structure. The nutrients are distributed via an irrigation system that makes the water fow from the top to the bottomof the system.

These gardens, in addition to the value that they aford to the buildings and façades they are benefcial in terms of quality of the air, energy consumption, environmental temperature and noise level.

The marketing work is being expanded into new areas of the country, namely Rabat and Marrakech.

There are great expectations for the new business and the expansion of operations as a result of the large number of public projects being put out to tender (and forecast for the future) in the areas of urban and environmental regeneration and sport. There is also a growing number of hotels, luxury apartments and golf courses, representing the country’s clear commitment to high quality tourism.
