In addition to the need to guarantee greater efciency to reach the objectives set for 2010 and to maintain the perspectives for 2011 intact, in 2010 we continued to maintain the solidarity nature and acknowledgement of People, of their work and dedication shown in their everyday performance that contribute toward the growth and development of the Mota-Engil Group.

This edition of Sinergia clearly expresses these values.

As pertains solidarity, reference goes to the Manuel António da Mota Foundation that counted with a considerable and symbolic presence of the civil society when the group was distinguished for its work in the solidarity area with strong involvement of its shareholders at the Annual Award Ceremony.

As recognition of People and their dedication to the Mota-Engil Group, this edition also highlights Mr. Candal, an employee who has worked for the company for 55 years and is a reference for all the generations that worked and work at Mota-Engil, due to his dedication in serving Mota-Engil and who is today a motivation for all.
