MOTA-ENGIL IN THE WORLD
SINERGIA 44
After studying new possibilities in
business areas where the Group
has competencies as well as experience,
Mota-Engil Central Europe (MECE)
sought to extend the range of engineering
and construction services in Central
Europe.
With this objective and after identifying
the field of business to be developed, the
company submitted tenders for public
contracts in fulfilment of the strategy
decided upon, having recently signed
contracts for new projects for a total
value of 80 million euros.
NEW CONTRACTS SIGNED IN THE
FIELD OF ELECTRO-MECHANICS
At the end of 2013 the PSE SA
(Polish Electrical Grid), after studying
the bids submitted, selected Mota-Engil
Central Europe for the contract referred
to as “extension to the 220 kV control
room at the Groszowice 220/110 kV
station and for the extension of the
220 kV control room at the 220/110 kV
Pabianice station”, both of which are
due to be completed by March 2016.
Also in the electro-mechanical industry,
Mota-Engil Central Europe was awarded
the Glinki sub-station contract, increasing
its order book to 22 million euros.
ROAD MAINTENANCE CONTRACT
As one of the biggest construction
companies in the Polish market and
with an increasingly good reputation
in the field of road building, Mota-Engil
Central Europe was likewise awarded
the maintenance contract for six years
for the S17 Lublin road worth 7 million
euros.
