THE NEW LABELS
The revised project, which included a
rebranding of labels, will be divided into
three segments. The Quinta da Calçada
label will be for the "super premium"
range, Portal da Calçada for the "premium"
range and Lago Cerqueira exclusively
for exports, a range which will stress the
quality/price ratio.

The Quinta da Calçada range will be made
up of
Reserva
, ‘Exuberant’ and ‘Terroir’
white wines which will be joined in the
future by
Vinhas Velhas
produced from
the grapes grown on the vines which have
been on the estate since before 1927 and
which are intended to be certified as “the
oldest vine in the
Vinho Verde
region”.
Portal da Calçada includes a
vinho verde
DOC Reserva and the brut and dry
sparkling wines which will be joined
shortly by the
Reserva
sparkling wines as
soon as conditions are ripe.
The vine selection is based on Alvarinho
and Loureiro, the two vines which form
the backbone of the range.
With the experience and the stamp of
the oenologist João Cabral de Almeida,
Adega do Salvador range wines are
all distinct from one another while
sharing a characteristic freshness and
