GLAN AGUA AND MEIC WITH MULTIPLE
CONTRACT AWARDS
THE NEW CONTRACTS TOTALING MORE THAN 49 MILLION EUROS.

G lan Agua and MEIC are delighted to announce a series of new
contract awards, totaling € 49.1 million, which will contribute to the further development of our company portfolio
and strategic aims. The projects represent a clear progression and will provide new
and exciting challenges to both companies over the coming ten years. These contracts also express new development for both Glan Agua and MEIC, as they constitute our  rst awards as a fully integrated Joint Venture.
Overall, 2017 has been a successful year for Glan Agua and MEIC, which is evidenced by a notable increase in our tender success rate when compared to 2016. All of this demonstrates that the continued growth ambitions of the organisation are on track. In a period where the forecasted investment of Irish Water amounts to €595 M for 2018, our recent awards leave cause for optimism moving forward.
THURLES REGIONAL WATER
SUPPLY SCHEME CONTRACT NO.2 (€12.5 MILLION)
The Thurles Regional Water Supply Scheme Contract No.2 consists of the design, construction, commissioning, testing, operation and maintenance of new Water Treatment Works with an output capacity of 8,600m3 per day. The project includes for
a seven‐year operation period following the commissioning of the project. Glan Agua MEIC JV is responsible for all elements of the project as a fully integrated JV.
COURTMACSHERRY & TIMOLEAGUE SEWERAGE SCHEME WASTEWATER TREATMENT PLANT DBO CONTRACT (€5.2 MILLION)
Glan Agua MEIC JV has recently been awarded the Courtmacsherry & Timoleague Sewerage Scheme Wastewater Treatment Plant DBO Contract. This contract involves the provision of a new 2,500PE wastewater
treatment plant to serve the villages of Courtmacsherry and Timoleague and the provision of pumping stations, rising mains and collector sewers in the associated villages. The works also include for a seven‐year operation period and represent signi cant development in the progression of our experience in the  eld of wastewater treatment. The contract involves a new
and exciting challenge for the Glan Agua MEIC JV as it is the  rst installation of this process by our client, Irish Water.
FOXFORD, CHARLESTOWN AND KILLALA SEWERAGE SCHEMES BUNDLE DBO CONTRACT (€10.8 MILLION)
The Foxford Charlestown and Killala Sewerage Schemes Bundle Design, Build and Operate Contract signi es a substantial development in the both elements of
the Glan Agua MEIC JV portfolio’s. The contract involves the design, construction, commissioning, testing and operation of a
