MANVIA HONOURED AGAIN
WITH AWARD OF EXCELLENCE
THE 3RD BEST LARGE COMPANY.
AWARD RECOGNISES
GOOD PRACTICES IN MANAGING Manvia was once again awarded, this time as the 3rd best large company, within the scope of its participation in the Index of Excellence, an initiative promoted by Neves de Almeida | HR Consulting in partnership with Human Resources Portugal, Executive Digest and INDEG‐ISCTE.
After the 5th and 4th places in the 2015 and 2016 editions, respectively, another step was taken, in 2017, in the improvement
of its positioning in the ranking of the best large companies in Portugal.
This is an external recognition of
great importance and that reinforces and accredits the quality of the work developed by everyone in Manvia’s a rmation as a player of Excellence in the global context.
The index is a study of organisational environment and development of human capital, based on the answers of 30 thousand professionals from around
200 companies of all sizes and from all sectors of activity. The results point to the factors of employee retention in the companies and enable promoting good management practices.
WOMEN FRIENDLY COMPANY
Following this participation, Manvia was also recognized as a Friendly Company by the Women in Business Association (WinB).
The award was presented during the “Economia & Prosperidade” (Economics & Prosperity) conference, organised by this association (WinB), that took place on 8 March (International Women’s Day) in Lisbon.
The Women in Business (WINB) movement was formed from the Lisbon Business
Connections corporate platform, created
by the Lisbon Municipal Council, and
its mission is to identify, implement and disseminate good practices that make
the cities and their public and private organisations into friendly areas for women seeking to invest, create or expand their companies or to take on top roles in their organisations. In partnership with Neves de Almeida, HR Consulting, WinB’s initiative seeks to honour the  rst three Friendly Companies for having shown to incorporate practices that meet WinB Friendly Cities measures identi ed in 2017.
