The Technical Academy Training programme, directed to Contract Managers, was completed after six months.
This programme had as its major goals
to promote knowledge, reinforce the implementation of the internal procedures in terms of contract planning and operationalisation, as well as to stimulate experience sharing in the management
of the contracts and the improvement
of the practices in the organisation, in a project that involved multiple areas of the company. In addition to participation in the di erent modules, the trainees were invited to develop a case study with the delivery of a written report and of an in‐
person presentation of projects that will subsequently be analysed for development and implementation in Manvia in 2018.
Manvia’s director, Pedro Vieira Neves, emphasised the importance and responsibility of this Training in the consolidation of management within
the scope of the role’s responsibilities, citing one of the management theories
of the entrepreneur Belmiro de Azevedo, who said that “managing is a simple art that comes down to common sense, plus training, plus good information”. Adding and concluding that “the management’s success is also the result of a lot of work”.
