Under the protocol between the Manuel António da Mota Foundation and
the Portuguese delegation of Habitat
for Humanity International, on 16 January, two more rehabilitation works were inaugurated for houses in the municipality of Amarante.
The works mobilized dozens of national and international volunteers and bene ted two families with housing di culties.
Within the scope of this protocol, the Foundation has already contributed to rebuilding multiple houses lacking in terms of comfort, safety and salubrity.

The touring exhibition includes works by illustrators from over 30 countries.

The Ajudaris Association, the Manuel António da Mota Foundation and
the Municipal Council of Amarante inaugurated on 6 January at Casa
das Artes, in Porto, an exhibition of
the works that competed in the 1st International Biennial of Solidary Illustration. This touring exhibition, which includes 60 works by illustrators from 32 countries, was then moved
to the Monastery of Santa Clara‐a‐Velha, in Coimbra.
This initiative follows the  rst exhibition and ceremony for the delivery of the Awards of the 1st International Biennial of Solidary Illustration, which took
place in the Amadeo de Souza‐Cardoso Museum, in Amarante, with sponsorship by the Municipal Council and by the Manuel António da Mota Foundation.
