Glan Agua starts operations of Water Treatment Plant
APARTMENTS IN CZECH REPUBLIC
Mota-Engil Central Europe entered into a 14.4 million-euro contract for the implementation of three new residential buildings in Zličín, Prague 13, near the underground station.
The project includes 320 apartments, Type 1 and Type 4, distributed in six and seven-foor buildings. This project follows on another contract that Mota-Engil Central Europe is implementing in Letňany, also in Prague, for the same customer. The works are expected to be completed next year.
ENGINEERING
In total, the investment in these stations, that Glan Agua was awarded last year, totaled 55 million euros, 20 million of which are for construction and the remainder for operation and maintenance.
Glan Agua, an environmental engineering company of the Mota-Engil Group started operation in frst water treatment plant Mota-Engil, in Ireland in the DBO (Design, Build and Operate) system.
This Water Treatment Plant is located in Galway, to the West and integrates a group of 24 water treatment plants which are being built in the Roscommon County and which Glan Agua is going to operate for the following 20 years.
In total, the investment in these stations, that Glan Agua was awarded last year,

Glan Agua is 70% held by Mota-Engil Ambiente e Serviços and started operation in February 2008. It specialized in the supply of design, building, operation and maintenance services in the water and waste water industry.
Note that Glan Agua received ISSO accreditations in the last three months by a certifcation entity - Certifcation Europe.
