Day 3 | Assistance and Maintenance Centre_Ascendi › Day 4 | Visit to Douro Interior Project

second last day of the 2 weeks the trainees were given a surprise challenge to create an edition of Sinergia, aimed at a Business Unit and focused on one of the group values – ‘Sinergi@s’. The trainees were split up into 4 groups, each of which working for around 1 day with the objective of presenting a creative fnal result to represent each of the Business Units.

Once again, the creativity, dedication and dynamism of the young trainees was demonstrated by the work that they presented.

Day 2 | Getting to know the group

› Presentations by representatives of each Business Unit to explain the organisational structure of the Mota-Engil Group. › WelcoME Seminar

Day 3 | Ascendi

› Visit to Ascendi › "Road Safety" Challenge › Visit to the Maia and Famalicão Assistance and Maintenance Centre

Day 4 | Douro Interior

› A presentation about the Douro Interior project by the Project Team. › Visit to Lots 6.1 and 6.2

Day 5 | Indaqua

› Learning about the water business - Indaqua

› Challenge of "methods to increase accession of clients to the service" › Visit to the Indaqua facilities in Matosinhos

Day 6 | start@ME Charity

› Day set aside for charity work with Corporate Social Responsibility Management and the social charity institution HABITAT

› Participation in the construction of a house for an underprivileged family in Braga.

Day 7 | ME in the World

› Presentation by the institution of the ME Group’s international strategy

› Speeches by staf members with experience in international mobility › Challenge: "SUMA - The discovery of a newmarket"

Day 8 | Last Ch@llenge

› Workshop on "Giving Presentations" › Launch of the fnal challenge: the creation of an edition of Sinergia, aimed at one of the Business Units

During the 9 days of acceptance training, the Trainees were challenged to demonstrate their teamwork skills, their acquired

knowledge about the group in general and about each of the business areas in particular, as well as their capability to respond to unexpected and adverse situations.
