Programme was held at the start

of the last quarter of 2010

The @mota-engil phase of the trainees – start@ME Corporate Programme was held at the start of the last quarter of 2010.

With the objective of accepting the group of 21 trainees into the Mota-Engil Group, Corporate Human Resources Management prepared and developed 2 weeks of training activities to provide the trainees with contact with the diferent areas of the business and the organisation’s companies and partners. The training was also aimed at propagating the values and skills that make up the company’s identity.

The young people had plenty of new experiences during the 9 days of acceptance training. The frst day with Jorge Coelho, the visit to the complex and large-scale Douro Interior project, the possibility to participate in a greater

cause, such as helping to construct a house for an underprivileged family through Corporate Social Responsibility Management and Habitat, and the message of efort and dedication for this new life cycle transmitted by Arnaldo Figueiredo, were the highlights of the activities that were organised for the group of 21 trainees, at both a professional and personal level.

During the 9 days of acceptance training, the Trainees were challenged to demonstrate their teamwork skills, their acquired knowledge about the group in general and about each of the business areas in particular, as well as their capability to respond to unexpected and adverse situations.
