Final Evaluation of the 2 nd edition of the MAP Project (December 2010)
The path followed throughout the second edition of the MAP Project ended with the return of the Individual consolidated analysis Report of skills to each participant. This was followed by Participant and Management’s feedback, jointly analysing the respective results in order to defne the Potential Development Plan to be implemented.
Subsequently, we reviewed the 2 nd edition of the Project, particularly focusing on an analysis of overall results, which was shared with Mota-Engil's Executive Committee, aiming to identify the strengths of the group of involved employees, as well as the areas that require development and investment.
Therefore, based on all input collected throughout the Project and its review, the moment has arrived to carry out an exercise crossing the overall results on a corporate level, analysing individual
skills, and information collected through the Potential Development Plans. This work will create a set of cross cutting initiatives to develop skills and capitalize employee potential.
However, solid development skills will only be possible when ensured on two levels: at the Mota-Engil Group level, through the inter-relationship of diferent human resource management processes and at the level of the employee him/ herself, through his/her involvement in implementing the Potential Development Plan.
The importance of the MAP Project in the development of skills and for the evolution of the Participants, as Mota-Engil Group employees, is recognized by them, as well as by the involved Managers, who, at the end of 2010, globally evaluated the second edition of MAP, leaving their testimony as to the opportunity to participate in it:
