As we hold practically 100% of the capital of our fve concession holders, we are able to ensure uniformity, and we have now standardized methods and procedures in all of them. We are the only private entity for water and sewage management to have its own computer system, adapted to our specifc requirements, which we use to manage customer relations.

The principal activity of INDAQUA is the provision of an essential public service, the distribution of water and collection and treatment of sewage.

Being a natural activity, it is closely regulated and subject to strict quality control requirements.

Also, for this reason, quality, accuracy, control, efcacy and environmental preservation are essential concepts at INDAQUA.

Besides quality and safety in the operational activities, our objective is to maintain a good relationship with our customers, consisting of all those who live or work in the municipalities where we operate. With this goal in mind, we invest in the development of tools that provide comfort to consumers and the guarantee of a modern, high quality service.

We are present in seven Municipalities, through fve concession agreements and capital shareholding in a Municipal company, managing around 200,000 accounts and serving round 560,000 people.

We are the only private entity for water and sewage management to have its own computer system, adapted to our specifc requirements, which we use to manage customer relations. Meeting new demands for connections, modifcation of existing contracts, issue of invoices, charging, clearing up doubts and responding to any complaints, are procedures that are now standardized across all the companies.

We also have a program underway for the certifcation of various concession holders, in diferent areas, which will contribute to improving our performance still further.

The experience it has gained enables me to state that INDAQUA has competences across many areas, within the water and sewerage sector. We know how to design and generate a water supply or sewerage system that is high quality, efcient, economic and sustainable. We know how to contract and control the design of engineering projects and the construction of the necessary infrastructures; we know how to structure and contract the necessary fnancing to make them a reality; we know how to operate systems for the capture, treatment and distribution or collection, as a whole; and we know how to relate directly with users, billing them for the services provided and receiving the respective amounts from them, which are used to fund our investments, operation and fnancing costs.

Besides permanent services for the national market, we have been present in Angola since 2009 through Vista Water, a company in which we are joint shareholders with Mota-Engil Ambiente e Serviços and Angolan partners. We have high expectations for growth, with the expansion of various components of the company’s activity.
