VBT - Projetos e Obras de Arquitetura Paisagista, an associated company of Vibeiras in Angola, continues to grow in a quick and sustained manner: constant innovation and adaptation to the Angolan market has been the key to success.

The investment in the Kikuxi work site features a stock of 30 thousand plants of over 300 diferent species. The production of some of the main materials used in construction makes VBT stronger and thus creates competitiveness and ensures reliability in production.

In terms of works there have been various developments­. The work of VBT in the frst 5-star hotel in Luanda is complete. Sana Luanda Royal Hotel is already a landmark in the heart of the city and VBT joined its work to the excellence and ambition of SIVOL’s project. The maintenance of the gardened areas was also ensured for a two-year period. Via Teixeira Duarte’s most recent hotel project, VBT was able to carry out another work at Praia do Bispo: Hotel Baía Luanda. It has been a privilege, following the works to the head ofce building of Chevron and the work at Condomínio Sodimo, to be able to participate actively in the urban requalifcation of the new coastline road of Praia do Bispo.

The requalifcation works of Largo Dr. Fernando Leite Duarte (square) and of Parque da Liberdade (park) have also been completed. The square, know as "Urban Oasis" is already known is an example of the investment of the Angolan government to regain the quality of life of Miramar, through public space.

The works involved in gardening, design and implementation of automatic irrigation were also of the responsibility of VBT. The fnal result is simply unique within the Angolan context. At Parque da Liberdade, through green areas designed and made by VBT, a vacant area was rehabilitated and will now serve as a parking lot for the ministries and National Assembly.

The construction of the outdoor areas of Academia BAI, also in Luanda, is already it its fnal stage. In addition to the gardened areas there are also civil construction works, supply and installation of urban equipment and the construction of magnifcent water features that characterize and individualise the project.
