Corporate Model of Functions and Skills covers newcompanies
The corporate model of functions and skills (MCFC) – created based on the mission of the Human Resources Corporate Division to prepare HR corporate standards, thus creating a philosophy and an architecture common to the diversity of Group businesses and geographies – aims at promoting the organisational alignment between the various companies and at creating the bases for the future development of other human resources management processes. Therefore, the MCFC assumes the role of “foundation stone” for other human resources corporate models, such as the corporate model of performance management, the compensation policy, and the international mobility policy, amongst other issues.
The extension of thismodel to the various Mota-Engil Group companies is thus critical and essential for the development of other human resources corporate
policies and so its implementation becomes a priority. Said priority attributed to the MCFC is quite clear in the level of existing coverage, in that its implementation has already been carried out or initiated in several companies of the sub-holdings MEEC and MEAS, as well as in Mota-Engil SGPS and in MESP.
As it was fundamental to ensure the progressive extension of this coverage in order to comply with the principle of a philosophy and an architecture common to the whole Group, a new project to implement the MCFC was recently initiated, this time in Indaqua. This project will focus on the various Indaqua concessions, as well as on Aqualevel and Indaqua (Indústria e Gestão de Águas, SA), thus assuring the coverage of a new business segment, the water sector, by this corporate model of functions and skills.
members of the Mota-Engil Group from 13 companies with framework in the diferent business areas of the Group.
Theparticipantswere facedwithachallenge at the start of each programme. In teams they had to develop a proposal whichwould be presented at the end of the respective programme. Both challenges contemplate the current strategic plan and therefore are based on an issue that considers the vision of the future of the Mota-Engil Group, international and diversifed.
