In 2013 the Mota-Engil Group has
shown its best operating performance
ever, reflected in a turnover growth to
2,314 million euros and a significant
increase in EBITDA of 26% to 362.8 million
euros and in EBIT (operating result) of
42% to around 243 million euros.
With a strong operating performance
supported by a capacity for resilience in
Europe and ongoing diversification and
expansion in the Africa and Latin America
markets, the Group, in 2013, reached net
results of 50.5 million euros, representing a
significant increase of 24% compared with
he same period of the previous year.
The Group’s order book was worth 3.870
million euros, with Africa being the
major contributor, also with emphasis on
Latin America, contributing in the overall
to exceed the goal established for 2013:
an order book worth 3.5 billion euros.
For CEO, Gonçalo Moura Martins, the
2013 annual results reflect "the growing
and sustained improvement in Group
profitability".
