the importance of the project and explained
the reasoning behind the selection of the
Angolan market: “We are proud to be a part
of a strategic partnership of this size in light
of the leaders involved, its credibility and
the existing conditions. Internationalisation
has been under consideration for some
time and the partnership programme was
the positive driving force which provided
us with a range of facilities and for this we
are grateful to the Mota-Engil Group which
enabled us to open all of the doors possible
to make the project a reality”, adding also
that the choice of Angola is due to the fact
that it is “an emerging market with lots
to do and we know that it is a country
with great deal of resources in the area of
ornamental stone”.
Since
the
"Internationalisation
in
Partnership" programme began, contacts
have been made with some 180 Portuguese
SMEs in different fields which have
resulted in 3 agreements and a further 12
projects under consideration.
