partnership to develop projects in
the field of sub-stations and power
transmission lines in markets where
we both have a presence.

integrated substation solutions where
we have extensive know-how along
with transmission grids.

We have expectations for all of these
markets where the increase in power
and the modernisation of transmission
grids is ongoing and where there will
be a need for increases in the markets
where we have a presence.

Leader’s Club award for
Mota-Engil Engenharia
Mota Engil Engenharia has entered
into a partnership agreement with He-
lenos to develop substations and power
transmission lines in the Central Eu-
ropean, Latin American and African
markets.
Helenos is a company based in Figueira
da Foz which specialises in the cons-
truction and maintenance of power
installations and infrastructures with
extensive experience in the building,
supply and installation of low, medium
and high voltage.

AND HELENOS
The awards ceremony took place
on December 2 in Madrid and was
attended by companies in both
industry and commerce from each
continent. More than 40 companies
had their achievements acknowledged,
with Mota-Engil Engenharia being
the only Portuguese company in the
construction industry.
To Victor Pais, responsible for the
area of pavements, “this award, like
the previous one, confirms that the
company is on the right track towards
the goal set, in terms of excellence,
reaching a very high quality and
image levels despite the crisis scenario
sweeping the construction sector for
several years.”
Mota-Engil Engenharia has been awar-
ded the “International Award for Leader-
ship in Image & Quality” in recognition
of Mota-Engil Pavimentações activity.
The company was represented by Victor
Pais who accepted the award on behalf of
the company from Ricardo Roso Lopez,
who presided over the event.
Carlos Mota Santos, Martinho Oliveira e Luís Sousa were present
representing Mota-Engil
