NEW CONTRACT
Vibeiras maintains Alvalade
Stadium and the Sporting
Academy in Alcochete
EUROPE
Besides being the stage of important
games of the EURO 2004, it hosted the
final of the UEFA Cup 2004/2005. It was
the first stadium in Portugal to receive
the “5 Stars” distinction by UEFA.
Vibeiras adds to its portfolio another
sportive equipment of excellence,
alongside with the Academy in Alcochete
(4 natural grass fields, 3 synthetic fields
and surrounding green spaces), where
the maintenance is already carried out
since September 2013.
On January Vibeiras initiated the
maintenance of the main field of the
Sporting Clube de Portugal Stadium, in
a 6 month contract, starting on January
2 until the end of the sportive season,
in June.
The maintenance contract provides for a
long list of operations and interventions
to cope with football official competitions
(27 per year), football practices (10 per
year) and an annual extra-football event,
beside all preparation and requalification
works necessary to the good condition
of one of the most important pitches
of Portuguese professional football
(cultivation operations and drainage
improvement, treatment, fertilization,
irrigation management and field lightning
system).
The José Alvalade Stadium was
inaugurated onAugust 2003 and is framed
within the Alvalade XXI complex and the
field has 105x68 metres in dimension.

The Largo do Paço restaurant achieved
first place in the list of the fifty best
European restaurants chosen by the
public in an internet poll.
The "European 50 Best.com" is the
ultimate online restaurant guide based
on a simple premise – that the shared
opinion of thousands of avid diners
with real experiences is necessarily
more accurate than the opinions of one
or two critics.
The public selected the best restaurants
from a list of some 117 in more than
20 European countries.
Chef Vítor Matos was awarded first place
as “Chef of the Year” in the competition
promoted by the magazine
WINE –
A Essência do Vinho
demonstrating
through his talent, dedication and
ability to overcome that he is one of
Portugal’s greatest chefs.
