Mota-Engil Angola and the Vocational
Training Center Team (VTC) celebrate the
3
rd
Anniversary of the Maria Amália Mota
Vocational Training Center. The program
comprised several cultural and recreational
activities ending with a luncheon.
To date, in just less than three years
of existence, the Vocational Training
Center received 3,721 applications,
trained 189 young Angolans, carrying out
8,911 hours of curricular training,
5,600 hours of practical training, involving
62 Mota-Engil Angola tutors, having
integrated 99 trainees.
Aiming at increasing the demand for
the courses provided, Mota-Engil Angola
placed great emphasis on a three month
external promotion campaign of the
Vocational Training Center.
With this project Mota-Engil Angola ends
up generating mutual benefits between the
company and society, keeping active its
social responsibility commitment towards
a country which is closely connected to the
history of Mota-Engil.

A follow-up to the first
contract signed in 2012,
the company has
extended its presence
in the Moroccan capital,
a still relatively newmarket
The Vibeiras branch in Morocco
was awarded the contract for the
maintenance of green areas –
Section 3 following an internation-
al public tender launched by the
Casablanca Municipality.
The contract, worth 861,650 euros,
is effective for one year, renewable
for a further three years.
This is the second contract to be
awarded to Vibeiras in the city after
winning the international tender in
2012 for the regeneration and refur-
bishment of the surrounding area to
the Casablanca Medina. The contract
awarded in this case covers an area
of almost 90 hectares of green areas.
The awarding of the contract is of
crucial importance for the business
of Vibeiras in Morocco which will be
the basis for a strategy of growth and
expansion into other markets.
The Vibeiras branch in Morocco
currently has 95 employees.
