MOTA-ENGIL IN THE WORLD
SINERGIA 44
With the presence of diplomatic
representatives from Portugal, Peru and
Angola, the local mayor and a number
of other personalities, the company
Sangobiar inaugurates its new premises
in Ponte Piedra, Lima, the production
unit specifically designed for the
engineering industry representing a 1.7
million euro investment.
The support derived from the
“Internationalisation in Partnership”
programme was crucial and included
investments from Mota-Engil Indústria
e Inovação, Caixa Capital and Portugal
Ventures which were all present at the
opening ceremony.

the engineering and solar energy fields,

INDUSTRIA E INOVAÇÃO
Sangobiar opens new facilities in Peru,
an investment with support
from the “Internationalisation
in Partnership” programme
made its debut in the country driven by
its partnership with Mota-Engil Peru
to take part in the contract to extend
the terminal of the Port of Paita, which
has been a major contribution to the
company´s progress at this initial stage.
As Mota-Engil is by far the biggest
Portuguese investor in Peru and being
the Port of Paita the country's second
largest port, operated by a consortium
which includes Mota-Engil, this is clear
evidence of the value added which
is the result of partnerships boosting
the internationalisation of Portuguese
business with immediate benefits for
local communities.
Attending the ceremony, Arnaldo
Figueiredo, Vice-Chairman of the
Board of Directors and Chairman
of Mota-Engil Indústria e Inovação,
stated to be “very proud to be here
