INTERVIEW WITH ANÍBAL LEITE, CEO OF MOTA‐ENGIL MOZAMBIQUE.

n an issue of SINERGIA with Mozambique as the highlight, we got to know the current

Aníbal Leite recognizes that it is for him a “permanent challenge to face problems with a vision of the world that is different from the one I grew up with, which is obviously something I consider to be very positive, highly motivating and which has made me grow as a person.”
Acknowledging that he misses his family and friends who stayed in Portugal,
and the teams in the areas he managed in Portugal, he recognises that he was compensated by the opportunity to have a new and very motivating challenge, stressing, “if we see difficulties as opportunities, they become interesting challenges that give life flavour.”

Looking to the future, we interviewed Aníbal Leite, CEO of Mota‐Engil since 2012, and with in‐depth knowledge of the Group he joined in 1982.
Today, and after seven years in Africa as a member of the Board of Directors of Mota‐Engil Africa and residing
in Mozambique, with executive responsibility for the markets of Mozambique, Malawi, Tanzania and Zambia, he shared a little of his vision of Mozambique.
