IATA certification allows the company
to deal directly with airlines for the
reservation of freights and cargo, which
until now was achieved solely by using
an intermediary.
IATA certification is a highly selective
process with cargo agents subject to
a rigorous legislation and demanding
technical requirements, which Transitex
has always observed strictly.
As a result Transitex will now be better
qualified to deal with the increasing
demands from its customers that, due to
the increasing internationalisation and
exporting, demand the air transportation
of several goods on a regular basis.
In addition to the present network of
agents worldwide, there is the potential
for Transitex to start to handle loads
between its various branches without
resorting to third parties, in particular
in the countries of Latin America where
it is now possible to cover the entire
continent with the services of forwarding
agent in a further step in the company’s
development internationally.
Alongside the Groups's strategy
for international development,
Transitex is increasingly extending
its horizons with offices in 14
different markets, which is further
increased by the agent agreements
entered into for many countries.
Currently, Transitex is present in
Portugal, Spain, Russia, Mexico,
Peru, Colombia, Brazil, Chile,
Angola, Mozambique, South Africa,
Zimbabwe, Malawi and Zambia.
