MEIC WITH NEW CONTRACT AWARD IN THE WATER SECTOR
THE PROJECT WAS AWARDED BY THE CLIENT, IRISH WATER, TO MOTA‐ENGIL IRELAND CONSTRUCTION (MEIC).
This is another important step for MEIC and its ambitions for the Republic of Ireland market, maintaining the water/wastewater sector as the most relevant area of activity in the Irish market.

ota‐Engil Ireland Construction (MEIC) was recently awarded the Letterkenny Regional Water
• Approximately 4,200 m of ducts with diameters of 150 mm/180 mm from Cranford to the Millford Reservoir in Millford Town;
• Approximately 2,390 m of ducts with diameters of 200 mm in the village of Rathmullan;
• Approximately 11,838 m of ducts
with diameters of 400 mm from
Veagh (Newtowncunnigham) to the Carnmauggagh reservoir (Letterkenny);
• Approximately 381 m of ducts with diameters of 225 mm around the N56 Business Park Road, Letterkenny and in N13 near Dry Arch Roundabout, Letterkenny;
• Construction of two Pumping Stations in Bohullion (Burt) and Dunduffsfort (Manorcunningham);
• Renovation and reinforcement of the Pumping Station in Milltown;

Supply Scheme project for client Irish Water, with a total estimated value
of 8.6 million euros.
This is another important step for MEIC and its ambitions for the Republic of Ireland market, maintaining the water/ wastewater sector as the most relevant area of activity in the Irish market.
This project is located in the northern region, surrounding the city of Letterkenny, and comprises several sections of water supply ducts with diameters ranging from 150 mm to
400 mm, spread over various areas, from agricultural areas to areas adjacent to traffic and urban areas, with a development of over 20 km.
The Letterkenny Regional Water Supply Scheme – Contract No. 3, comprises the design and construction of:
