MOTA-ENGIL MODERNISES
INFORMATION SYSTEMS
THE MOTA‐ENGIL GROUP HAS ADOPTED A NEW INTEGRATED BUSINESS MANAGEMENT SYSTEM IN ORDER TO MEET THE LATEST TECHNOLOGICAL INNOVATIONS.
The project aims to
support and strengthen internationalisation – extending the standardisation of business processes – and enables
the implementation of a unified information system.
M ota‐Engil is implementing an information systems
transformation programme seeking to provide the Group
companies with a modern ERP system that works as a global applications platform, establishing the necessary foundation to later integrate the most recent
technological innovations that enable to add value. In addition to the reformulation of business processes, this project – called NEXT4ME – will enable increasing availability and access to information, making the user experience more user‐friendly.
The new SAP S/4 HANA system replaces the SAP R/3 system and
is already in operation in ten companies of the EGF group since January 2019. Mota‐Engil expects entry into operation in almost all of the Engineering and Construction companies in the multiple countries in January 2020.
The project is supported by the Executive Committee of the Mota‐Engil Group and the project’s success criteria are aligned with
