6TH EDITION OF
CULTURAVIVA PROGRAMME
The seven concerts will be held until the end of the year.
The Manuel António da Mota Foundation is promoting yet another edition of the CulturaViva Programme.
The inauguration of this 6th edition was launched with a concert by João Bettencourt da Câmara, who performed
interpretations of the work
of Beethoven, Bach and Francisco Lacerda.
The concert cycle continues until 13th December, for a total of seven concerts.

“PORTO AMIGO” PROGRAMME
RENOVATES THREE MORE HOUSES
MAMF’s partnership with the Municipal Council of Porto began eight years ago and has now helped dozens of families.
The “Porto Amigo” programme has completed the renovation of three more houses in Porto.
This programme results from a partnership going back to 2011, between the MAMF, the Municipal Council of Porto, the Porto Social Action Group (G.A.S. Porto) and, more recently,
the “Just a Change” Association, which employs university volunteers
to undertake these renovations.
These three interventions involved repairing of roofs and walls, installing ceilings, laying flooring and improving access.
Those benefiting are municipal inhabitants who are aged over 60 or belong to a household that has family members with a degree of incapacity greater than or equal to 60%.
