EXPANSION OF THE 400 kV FIELD (Assembly of SX, SV Disconnectors and MAT Circuit breaker)
The Electromechanics unit of Mota‐Engil Engenharia e Construção carried out, for REN the expansion of the 400/60 kV Lavos Substation, located next to the Navigator Company factory, in the municipality of Figueira da Foz.
The design of this installation is air insulated (AIS), with the topologies of breaker‐and‐a‐half (two main busbars) in 400 kV, and of double busbar with withdrawable circuit breaker in 60 kV.
The work of the Electromechanics Department consisted of the installation of a 400 kV power transformer panel (P411) and a 170 MVA 400/60 kV TR on the 400 kV floor, as well as, for the 60 kV floor, the installation of a 60 kV power transformer panel (P611), three 60 kV phase reactors (in the TRI, TRII and TRIII), and a 60 kV neutral reactance
(in TRI).
