National Waste Forum
Awarded for the first time at the National Waste Forum in April.
Valorsul was recognised for the
excellent service it provides as a waste management entity, winning the Municipal Waste Management Quality
of Service Award, presented for the first time at the National Waste Forum held in April. The grant of this award is based on the decision of an independent jury. Besides having received the 2018 ERSAR Quality of Service Seal, Valorsul and Valorminho were chosen as the winners in their categories, from among the eight entities nominated. The Excellence
Awards honour the entity with the best performance, taking into consideration the coverage of expenses, the recycling of waste from selective collection,
the upgrading of the vehicle fleet, the response to complaints, among other criteria. This award recognises the merit and efforts of the companies that fulfilled all the environmental goals in 2018 at lower costs to the citizens, and that, in addition, increased recycling in all the materials.

CUSTOMER RELATIONS
Intended for drivers, driver’s assistants, receptionists and all employees who deal with the public.
 Customer Relations training began at EGF in March, designed for drivers, drivers’ assistants, receptionists and all employees that deal with the public, in a first‐of‐its‐kind initiative that will include all these employees at all the
concessionaires. This training is part of an ambitious training programme that includes another initiative dedicated to training in defensive driving, which has already been scheduled.
