EGF WINS
FUNDACOM AND APCE COMMUNICATION AWARDS
EGF WAS HONOURED AT THE FUNDACOM AWARDS AND THE RECYCLE BINGO APP WAS AGAIN RECOGNISED, BY APCE.
EGF was recognised with one of the FUNDACOM Awards – the communication awards for Portuguese and Spanish‐ speaking countries –, for the event Plastics and the Marine Environment,
in the category of External Event of up to 1000 people, at a ceremony held in Madrid on 9th May and included in a key international gathering
of communication professionals.
This award recognised an initiative carried out on 26th September 2018, in partnership with the Oceans
Communication Centre, with the presentation of a unique talk given in the Valorsul Sorting Centre, in Lumiar, in a studio prepared for the purpose, using 49 bales of plastic (PET) weighing 10 tonnes, which were sent for recycling and can be turned into 40,800 T‐shirts, for example.
RECYCLE BINGO APP CONTINUES TO WIN AWARDS
The Recycle BinGo app has been honoured once again, this time by the APCE – Portuguese Association of
Corporate Communication. During
the communication awards ceremony, held on 28th March at the Estoril Casino, Recycle BinGo received the award
for the Best External Digital Support, bringing its total number of awards
to more than five. Besides the initial companies offering the app – Valorsul, Amarsul and Valorlis –, it is also offered at Algar, ERSUC and Resiestrela,
and will soon be found at all the concessionaires.
