MOTA-ENGIL ANGOLA ACHIEVES RELEVANT MILESTONES
IN THE CERTIFICATION OF DIFFERENT BUSINESS AREAS
THE COMPANY MEETS THE MOST DEMANDING REQUIREMENTS AND HAS ITS CERTIFICATION EXTENDED, THUS ACHIEVING GREATER INTERNATIONAL RECOGNITION.
Following the changes to the new requirements of standard “ISO 9001:2015 – Quality Management Systems – Requirements”, Mota‐Engil Angola made some changes that ensured compliance with this regulatory transition and renewed the certification.
Activities such as the analysis of the internal and external context, the determination of risks and opportunities, the management of organisational knowledge, and the determination of product requirements that meet the needs and expectations of clients are regulatory requirements that complete the requirements of the developed products and services.
As part of this international recognition, Mota‐Engil Angola has also recently had the scope of the new certificate changed, since it now incorporates the areas
of Foundations and Geotechnics, and Electromechanics in the Management System: “Design and Construction of
Engineering Projects, Infrastructure and Buildings, including geotechnics and special foundations, laboratory tests and studies of formulation of bituminous and hydraulic mixtures, electromechanical and hydraulic installations, automation and telecommunications systems, hospital infrastructure and cooling networks”.
In order for this whole process to take place in an intuitive manner, several training actions and internal audits
were carried out throughout the year, thus enabling the success of this strategic objective.
