In this operation, considered conventional mining and carried out in multiple open pits using conventional techniques, around 30 thousand tonnes are treated per day, integrating, at its peak, around 550 employees. This shows the size of the contract, as well as the
planning and logistics requirements. The project is proceeding at a good pace, in a business segment where Mota‐Engil has recognised experience in the continent, and in which it intends to continue operating.
